Rotary Club of Sackville and Area presented Networking with Rotary at Freemans, Sackville Drive on Oct. 1, 2019. Hosted by Past President, Ron Zwaagstra.
Key Note Speaker, Alana Hirtle , helps small business owners at CBDC Northen Opportuities for Business Limited (NOBL) in Truro and spent 14 years as Event Manager at White Point Beach Resort. Alana spoke on her years of experience of making the best of challenging situations throughout her career and gave insight with humour while describing "Keeping Your Head While Everyone Is Losing Theirs".
She also shared her active community life as Chair of the Truro Heritage Advisory Committee, Member of the Truro Brand Leadership committee, and Past President of Rotary Club of Truro.
Networking opportunities over pizza occurred and a good productive time was had by all.
