Our Interact Club, whose members come from students at C P Allen High School, had their first major fundraiser at Bedford United Church tonight. The "First Annual" event raised around $2700 Alexis Fletcher IWK Adolescent Mental Health Endowment.

Many Interactors were friends of Alexis Fletcher and the club wanted to support the endowment Fund in her memory at the IWK to support other young people with mental health issues. Knowing the value of music, as a way to bring people together and to celebrate a wealth of emotions they used their skills and contacts and organised a Coffee House. As well as music there was coffee and baked goods from our Rotary Club. Amos Pewter "Believe in Hope" Jewellry  was on sale, and a silent auction was held for a print of Alexis' Daisy sketch.
