Introducing plans for Mosaics to Community

We approached local councillors, MLAs, service groups, veterans, neighbours, children's and youth's organizations, people with disabilities, local businesses, libraries, and medical centers to participate introducing our sponsorship program and also looking for participation with donations.

All contacts were offered the opportunity to come and paint a tile as well. We received great support from our Community, when approximately 450 individuals and businesses signed up to paint tiles.

Painting was arranged over two days. Individuals, businesses, service groups, etc. signed up to paint their individual tiles. Examples: Veterans from the RCL Calais Branch 162, Sackville Sonics - women's volleyball team, RCMP Detachment members, local Bronze Medal Olympian, many service clubs, many businesses, many, many, more.
