Rotary has been fighting to eradicate Polio from the world for some time & are very close to accomplishing this. October is Polio Month and our Club celebrated World Polio Day with two events. Planting 100 Rotary Tulip Bulbs beside the beautiful Mosaics in Acadia Park, Lr. Sackville & having a virtual trivia game where all proceeds go to Polio. With our donations & the matching of the Gates Foundation, we raised enough to vaccinate approximately 1,400 children. In the spring, you can enjoy the beauty of the tulips and smile knowing that so many children have been saved from this dreadful disease.
