Captain Holly Reynolds, Cadets was a speaker for our Rotary Club on February 9, 2021.
Captain Reynolds explained that Cadets is a free youth program for ages 12-18. They are an active group, developing interest in leadership, citizenship, physical activity and the Canadian Armed Forces.
Training includes, orienteering, band, sports, fieldcraft, biathlon, leadership, marksmanship, drill, and much more; something for everyone. Cadets provides youth with opportunities that no other program can offer. Challenge, adventure and teamwork are the foundations of their program. They get involved in ceremonial military events and citizenship activities that allow them to connect to their Canadian heritage.
