The First Ride Program provides new bicycles to children in need throughout our community. Since 2014, together we’ve helped over 1,100 families. This program was parked when Covid hit. Beginning in 2026, we are refreshing it to focus exclusively on delivering safe, professionally assembled NEW bikes to children — ensuring every child receives the right fit, something reliable, and built to last. A bicycle represents more than transportation. For many children, it creates independence, confidence, and a stronger connection to friends, school, and community. We are prioritizing safety, dignity, and long-term impact — ensuring each child receives something dependable and truly their own.
How You Can Help:
Sportwheels will donate 15–20 New Bicycles to the program each year. To expand that impact, we invite the community to support this mission through financial contributions to The Rotary Club of Sackville and Area. Your donation will help fund additional new children’s Bicycles & Helmets. Donations can be made by E-transfer to: rotarybicycles@gmail.com
